In order to bring a service animal to Space Center Houston:.The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability.Under ADA and Texas laws, emotional support, therapy, comfort or companion animals are not considered service animals and are not allowed at Space Center Houston.Space Center Houston defines “service animal” with the same language used in the federal Americans with Disabilities Act:.Most visual displays at Space Center Houston are captioned.Please switch your hearing aid to the T-position in this theater.
